Peer-Review Process

At the International Journal of Social Sciences, Economics, and Education Research (IJSSEER), we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality through a rigorous and transparent peer-review process. As a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, we ensure that each submission is thoroughly evaluated by experts in the relevant fields to ensure the validity, originality, and significance of the research.

Our Peer-Review Process:

1. Initial Submission Screening:

   • Upon submission, each manuscript is reviewed by the editorial team to ensure it meets the journal’s basic standards in terms of scope, formatting, and adherence to submission guidelines.
   • Manuscripts that do not meet these basic requirements may be returned to authors for revision before proceeding to the next stage.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review:

   • IJSSEER follows a double-blind peer-review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept anonymous. This ensures an unbiased and fair assessment of the manuscript.
   • Each manuscript is assigned to two or more independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the submission based on originality, clarity, methodology, relevance, and contribution to the field.

3. Review Criteria: Reviewers will evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

   • Originality and Innovation: Does the manuscript present new insights, ideas, or approaches?
   • Research Quality: Are the research methods sound and appropriate? Are the data and analyses accurate and valid?
   • Clarity and Structure: Is the manuscript well-organized, clear, and free of errors?
   • Significance and Impact: Does the research contribute to the advancement of knowledge in its field? Is it relevant to the journal’s audience?
   • References and Citations: Are the references appropriate and properly cited?

4. Reviewer Recommendations:

   • After reviewing the manuscript, reviewers will make one of the following recommendations:
     • Accept: The manuscript is suitable for publication with minimal or no revisions.
     • Minor Revisions: The manuscript is suitable for publication pending minor revisions.
     • Major Revisions: The manuscript has potential but requires significant changes before reconsideration.
     • Reject: The manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards and is unsuitable for publication.

5. Editorial Decision:

   • Based on the reviewers' reports, the editorial team will make a final decision regarding the manuscript. Authors will receive feedback, including any necessary revisions.
   • If revisions are required, the authors are given a specified time to address the reviewers' comments and resubmit their manuscript. Resubmitted papers may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers or new reviewers.

6. Publication:

   • Once a manuscript is accepted and final revisions are completed, it will be processed for publication. All articles are published online and made freely accessible to the global research community.

Peer Reviewer Responsibilities:

• Provide constructive, unbiased feedback to help authors improve their work.
• Maintain confidentiality and avoid any conflicts of interest.
• Evaluate the manuscript based on scientific merit, relevance, and clarity.
• Submit review reports within the agreed-upon time frame to ensure a prompt review process.
